Protecting your success

These days, people become successful and attain status at varying levels and time. Some workedhard long enough to have obtained their assets while some are more gifted and might have spent less effort. There are also some who reach the top with even less effort and often looked down and become targets of envy. If being targets of envy is harmful for these people then there should be a lot of fortunate people who have either took a downfall or have become less fortunate when it comes to their health. Unfortunately, this has found to be true since not all people stay at the top for long; they eventually fall down while only a few remain at their spots.

Only a few of these people ever reveal their secrets but one can never be too cautious and take certain charms into account. Yes, charms that protect people from envious gazes, whether it is intentional or not. Evil eye, a belief that revolves around the principle that a gaze of a certain person to another can be harmful is observed by many people in many cultures.

It is said that once a person gazes into another person or an object with malicious intent or envy, that intent can turn into a curse that could make the person sick or destroy the object. It is said that children are often the targets of these gazes as they are praised by strangers more often. This belief has dated back centuries ago and has been observed even by ancient cultures.

If you’re wondering how people believe to survive these types of curses, the answer lies in evil eye jewelry. These charms can be worn as a bracelet, ring, necklace, or simply attached to an object and the markings will supposedly nullify the effects of the evil eye curse. The charm is often designed with a round, blue eye with that eye being the source of its power. Some charms have more eyes and some have a different color but they’re all designed to work against the same curse.

Another type of defense against the evil eye is the Kabbalah bracelet – a simple string bracelet made of red wool. This charm has been said to bring a lot of good fortune to the wearer and can also nullify the effects of the evil eye curse. The Kabbalah bracelet has to be worn on the left wrist to be effective and the total length of the string used has to be as much as twice the total width of Rachel’s tomb, a patriarch of the Bible.
